Privacy Policy

Overview

Arzuno LeadLens (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension developed and operated by Arzuno (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Extension allows users to capture publicly visible LinkedIn profile data and export it as a structured lead record. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Data We Collect

1. Account Information

When you sign in to the Extension using Google OAuth, we receive your Google account email address and display name. This information is used solely to create or retrieve your Arzuno account. We do not receive your Google password or any sensitive credentials.

2. LinkedIn Profile Data You Capture

When you use the Extension on a LinkedIn profile page, it reads publicly visible information displayed on that page including full name, job title, company, location, LinkedIn URL, biography, follower count, connection count, and whether the profile is a LinkedIn Premium member. This data is captured only when you explicitly click the capture button. The Extension does not run automatically in the background or collect data without your direct action.

3. Enrichment Data

If you choose to enrich a lead, we submit the LinkedIn profile URL to our backend service, which queries a third party email verification provider (Prospeo) to find a verified email address associated with that profile. Phone number enrichment may also be available on certain plans. This enrichment only happens when you actively request it.

4. User Preferences

The Extension stores your field preferences locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API. This includes which data fields you have chosen to include or exclude in your exports. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. API Key

After authentication, an API key is generated for your account and stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API. This key is used to authenticate requests from the Extension to our backend. It is never shared with third parties.

How We Use Your Data

• To create and maintain your Arzuno account
• To save lead records you capture to your account dashboard
• To process email and phone enrichment requests you initiate
• To manage your credit balance and subscription plan
• To send transactional emails related to your account such as billing confirmations

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the Extension.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties. The only external services we share data with are:

• Prospeo — Used for email verification when you request lead enrichment. Only the LinkedIn profile URL is submitted. Their privacy policy is available at prospeo.io.
• Google OAuth — Used for authentication. We receive only your email and name from Google. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google services.
• LemonSqueezy — Used to process subscription payments. Payment data is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy and is never stored on our servers.
• MongoDB Atlas — Our database provider used to store your lead records and account information. Data is stored on servers in a secure, encrypted environment.

All third party services we use are contractually required to handle data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

Permissions Used by the Extension

identity

Used to authenticate you with your Google account via Chrome’s built-in OAuth system. This allows you to sign in without a separate password.

storage

Used to store your API key and field preferences locally in your browser. Nothing stored here is shared externally.

activeTab

Used to read the LinkedIn profile page you are currently viewing when you click the capture button. The Extension only reads the page at the moment of capture and does not monitor your browsing activity.

Host Permissions

The Extension communicates with linkedin.com to read profile data, arzuno-scraper.vercel.app to save and retrieve your leads and account data, and googleapis.com to retrieve your Google profile information after sign in.

Data Retention

Lead records you save are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual leads from your dashboard at any time. If you close your account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data and account
• Export your lead data at any time from your dashboard

Children’s Privacy

The Extension is intended for business and professional use only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
